Buds incidents.

OK, this is what happened. I was not here so this is what I heard. Bud got spooked by something and started running off with his block. (we had him tied to a cement block out in our garden which is over grown by weeds.) Anyhoo, he ran through our fence and got in the pen. Then he kept running (something must have scared him pretty bad) until he came to the fence waaaaay over on the other end. Tried to jump it but instead busted that fence too. He tripped and fell, then he got up and just stood there. Somewhere in the middle of all this he cut his nose down to the bone. Dad had to cut the loose skin off with siccors. Well, this is what he looks like now. Oh, then today he tried to commit suicide by choking him self. (we had to tie him out with a rope around his neck because of the cut.) I think he doesn't like us and is trying to find any way to get our of here. He probably heard us talking about having him pull our logs to cut out from the woods. Dad called him an idiot. (random fact)

Update. (havn't blogged in a while. Sorry.)

We did a lot the past two weeks. Here's (in a nutshell) what we did. 1. Started building our store. We had all the family's over helping. (there were a lot more guys there than in the picture) We got a lot more done then if it was just me and dad. He said we'd still be on the floor.
Tray sitting and dad climbing.
Clyde Harlow working on the roof.

As far as we got. We ran out of materials.
2. We got a saw mill. Its a Timberking 1220. Its got a 25 hp motor in it, so its ready to saw.
Picture of Front.
Picture of back. That thing is 500lb! And the tracks are 250lb each! So that's about 1000lb all together!!! (you should have seen my muscles, they were bulging! Ha. And Dad was over on the other side about ready to burst and was sweating like crazy and was half way down on his knees. So I felt sorry for him and lifted the whole thing and placed it were we needed it. No joking.)

3. We got a baby steer. He a Jersey. I don't know what they call him. I just call him steer. Hahaha
Sniffin the wire fence.
4. We got another pig! And it looks even more like Zoie then the other ones!!!
He also bite like her too. I was feeding the pigs one morn and they had turned the trough upside down. (Which, by the way, makes me mad) So I had to go in and turn the thing over. Well the big one must have thought I was moving to slow or something because he went and bit me just above the knee. Boy it hurt! I jump out of that pen faster than I knew I could and (without thinking picked up a flat 1 by 4 and whacked him across the butt so hard that you could have heard the slap all the way to the Tenn. River. So now, when ever I feed the pig and turn over the trough (witch, by the way, makes me mad) I carry a stick along with me and give them a few whacks on the nose.
Scary things.
This is Dakota, my horse. ( this was just a random picture)
Ain't she Beeeeeeeeeautiful
5. Me and dad are working on this house putting up dry wall, instillation.
I wish our house looked like that.

Camping

The ladies went camping this past Monday throu Wednesday. Mom took some pictures for our blogs. Here are the pictures that she took. She got all she could on the digital camera before the batteries ran out. This is when they either just got there or are coming back from swimming.
There were two vans. This picture is of our van with everybody that was in it.

Here they are in a room that you sit in and it makes you sweat because of all the heat.

Mom cooking. She was the main cook there. P.S. the other ladies were really surprised that she could cook with a Dutch oven. I don't think they even knew how!!!

A game that was at the campground. Walleyball.

Here the girls are swimming at the pool that was there. They all enjoyed the camping trip. Mom, when she got home, she right away went to bed and slept for about two hours.

Busy week.

My mom and some friends went to pick apples. (Below) I think they kind of overdid it. They started canning them and still are!!! Here are the apples that they picked that day. All the other friends got the same amount and the tree wasn't half way picked!!!
We got our sign out. I'm kind of embarrassed when people drive by. Its made mostly from cedar.

Baptism

Today, Sunday the 10th, Me and two other people got baptized. I was very nervous. When giving my testimony my lips were so dry that when I tried to wet them with my tongue, they would stick together! Anyway, I would like to share my testimony with you. I was born again on June 23. When I was down in Florida I always THOUGHT I was saved because I went to a "GOOD" church with a "GOOD RELIGION". But when I came up here, I had more time to think about my faith. And I realized that I was lost and going to hell. About two weeks after one of my friends up here got baptized, I started feeling very depressed. I could feel a very literal weight on my shoulders. I was angry at anything and everything that moved for no good reason. I didn't know who I stood for. God or satin. So finely I could bear it no longer. I talked to mom and dad about what was happening. They told me that there might be a real spiritual battle going on inside me, and they told me to pray about it. So I prayed for the last three months and knew were I wanted to stand. For God. Anyway, so I asked dad if I could be baptized, and he agreed. So I was baptized with two other new believers in Christ (Tray and Allison). I have to thank God that I moved. If I had not moved I most likely would still be heading for doom.
This is Mike Hankins waiting to baptize.

This is Allison Rose before being baptized and while being baptized.

This is me before I got baptized and while getting baptized.

This is Trey Davis before being baptized and while getting baptized. (Note: I listed the pictures in the order that we got baptized.)

Afterward we all sang some songs and went to a place called Furnace Park. We had food and played lots of fun games. So the overall day was a lot of fun and exciting.

P.S.

I'm getting baptized. I'll tell you all about it after it happens.

Chicks, Chickens, stuff you buy at the store or that you grill :)

We ordered 120 chickens last week. (I think) Seventeen died on the way here. Fourteen died while at our home. So now we've only got 89. (I think) Twenty are laying and sitting hens. The rest are roosters. Ummm. (slobbering) Lots of grilled chicken!!!As you can see. They are fuzzy chicks of many colors. There is one that is pure black and there is one that is blind.
Not all of them. But close.

My Horse.

Hi everybody, this week has been exciting. I've been looking for a good riding horse for a while and finely I found one! Her name was "Reba" but I didn't like it because it reminded me of a grouchy old lady who's name was "Reba". So I called her "Dakota". Shes a one year old filly. Half mustang and half Haverainian (Its a fox hunting horse that likes to jump). Right now she stands at thirteen hands tall. Shes very quick and smart. I love her. A full view of her.
There was a quarter horse that looked just like her from where we got her. We wouldn't have told them apart, if it hadn't been for the blaze. Hers was weird shaped, while the quarter horse had almost a perfect one. Shes a little shy of people, but shes comin on. I'll be hauling hay tomorrow so I probably won't see her all day.
